Ridiculously Simple Banana Crumble Recipe


We all love fresh warm gooey desserts but homemade desserts take time, right?! Well, not today. Literally and I mean literally, this banana crumble takes 5 minutes. What you need is 2 bananas, maple syrup, a bit of cooking spray, a pinch of salt, and your favorite gluten free cinnamony granola (or whatever granola is sitting on your shelf). You can whip this up and look like the absolute Queen of your kitchen.

Ridiculously Simple Banana Crumble

2 bananas
1-1 ½ Tbsp maple syrup
olive oil cooking spray
pinch of salt
¾ cup gluten-free granola

All you need to do for your granola is place in a plastic bag and take a rolling pin to it. You'll want to grind it up pretty fine but don't go so intense that you have powder. You just want it in smaller bits. Set aside.

Slice up your bananas and place into a frying pan. Spray a little olive oil and throw in a pinch of salt. Cook over a low heat. Once your bananas begin to cook, add in your maple syrup. You'll want to cook your bananas until most of the moisture has evaporated. You'll also want to make sure to flip them. Once finished, divide the bananas onto serving plates. Top with your crunchy crushed granola and that's it! If you want to get really fancy, serve with some vegan vanilla coconut ice cream.
