Thai Basil Sauce




I came up with this sauce after tasting some amazing Thai Basil Dipping Sauce with roasted eggplant last weekend. While I definitely did not replicate their sauce, I truly love what I came up with. It is spicy and sweet without being too heavy and overpowering. A little goes a long way and will complement any veggie with a beautiful Asian flare.

Thai Basil Sauce

2 Tbsp brown rice vinegar
1 Tbsp coconut oil
1 Tbsp soy sauce
1 Tbsp agave nectar
2 cloves minced fresh garlic
10 leaves of fresh basil
¼ cup chopped cucumber
pinch of crushed red pepper flakes

Simply add all your ingredients into a food processor (or blender) and blend until as smooth as possible. Serve on the side or on top of your favorite vegetable dishes.
