Easy Corn and Black Bean Salad



This is a very simple salad to whip together and pairs perfectly with veggie burgers or soups. Many corn and black bean salads will have you add oil but I don't think it's necessary so decided to hack out the unneeded calories. This dish will take you under 30 minutes and is cheap. Fast, cheap, and healthy. Gotta love that!

Easy Fat Free Corn and Black Bean Salad

1 bag of frozen corn
1 15 ounce can of black beans
1 small tomato
1 red pepper
¼ cup chopped red onion
¼ tsp salt
sprinkle of chili powder
squeeze half of lime
pinch of black pepper


Defrost your corn by rinsing under warm water. Drain and rinse the black beans. Chop your tomato, red onion, and red pepper. Combine all ingredients in a large bowl including seasoning. Stir and Serve.
